Holy Basil, also known as Tulsi, is an aromatic plant native to the Indian subcontinent and is considered a tonic for the body, mind and spirit.  Revered for thousands of years as part of the Indian system of Ayurveda, its name in Hindi translates as “incomparable plant”.

As an adaptogen, it is primarily used to support the body in dealing with stress and can also provide a boost in energy, so is particularly helpful to those struggling with apathy or lethargy.

As well as promoting mental balance, studies have shown that Holy Basil can reduce:
