Cat’s Claw is a South American vine that has been used by the Asháninka and Campa Indians of the Peruvian Amazon for thousands of years.  It is known by them as Uña de Gato (translated as Cat’s Claw) because of the claw-like thorns.  Our Cat’s Claw is Uncaria Tomentosa and comes from Peru.

Cats Claw is a potent anti-inflammatory and may relieve symptoms of both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It is also a valuable support for the immune system and may boost energy levels.  It has also shown promise in reducing various side effects of chemotherapy.
